Kebab Shop Cabbage Recipe

A Good Homemade Version!

This Kebab Shop Cabbage recipe is good with anything but I love it with my homemade kebab!

Ingredients

½ Head of red Cabbage
1 tbsp. Salt

For the Dressing

50ml Olive Oil
½ Juice of Lemon
1tsp Salt
1 tsp Pepper

Instructions

Remove the white core and shred the cabbage as finely as you can using a sharp knife or by using food processor.
Wash it till the water is no longer coloured and runs clear, as this will negate the ‘ burning’.
Sprinkle the 1 tbsp. Salt and squeeze the cabbage with your hand. Put aside for at least half an hour.
Wash and drain and place in a serving bowl, then pour over the dressing and mix well and then rest for another half an hour before serving.

  1. try mixing white cabbage with it too I use the same method except i will try it with pepper tommorrow. I hope you enjoyed your kebab shop chilli sauce tonight Friend!
