Homemade Coleslaw Recipe

Ingredients for Homemade Coleslaw Recipe
125 ml mayonnaise or natural yoghurt
1 tsp Dijon mustard
200g white cabbage
1 small onion (red or white)
Salt and pepper, to taste
Trim the outside leaves of the cabbage, then remove the centre stalk, wash the cabbage and shred finely and drain well.
Shred the carrot and onion as well and then mix with the cabbage
Mix the mustard with the mayonnaise in a bowl and season with salt and pepper.
Next mix and bind the shredded vegetables together with the mayonnaise and then cover and chill for at least an hour, if not longer before serving.
