Fresh Scrambled Eggs Recipe

The Old Recipes are still the best!

I love this fresh scrambled eggs recipe and so does my daughter. We have this every other Sunday for Breakfast or Brunch on toast with grated cheese on top. Absolutely delicious!  I hope you enjoy this recipe too!

Fresh Scrambled Eggs Recipe

Ingredients for Fresh Scrambled Eggs Recipe

8 eggs
2 tbsp milk
50g butter
Salt and Pepper, to taste


Crack the eggs into a bowl then add the milk.  Season with salt and pepper, to taste and then whisk thoroughly.
Melt half of the butter in a thick-bottomed saucepan and then add the eggs and then cook over a gentle heat stirring continuously until the eggs are lightly cooked and moist.
Remove from the heat, mix in the rest of the butter and correct the seasoning.

Please remember the eggs will continue cooking from the heat of the pan so take them off the heat before they overcook.  You could always heat then add a bit more to make them to your liking.

Serve with toast and grated cheddar cheese on top like me or just with a sprinkling of freshly chopped chives.  Enjoy!
